Ongoing eye care

In the emergency service unit of our center, there are always ophthalmologists and surgeons who cover all specialties. Our medical team is qualified to make a quick diagnosis and provide the most effective treatments, accompanied by delicate humane treatment.

Access to the reception desk : Where the patient should provide his data and explain his emergency condition.

Undergo an ophthalmologist's examination : In order to diagnose the condition, and prescribe the appropriate treatment, whether medical or surgical.

Complementary check-ups : If necessary to make a proper diagnosis, such as optometry, optical coherence tomography, optical ultrasonography, radiographic studies or fluorescein angiography.

Scheduling an upcoming follow-up visit : If the treatment requires it, in order to be able to issue a final report on the stability of the patient's condition.




When should I go to the emergency eye unit?

It is very important to go to the ophthalmic emergency unit if you feel pain in the eye or if you lose your vision or, of course, if you have an accident that led to the development of trauma to your eye, in order to be examined by an ophthalmologist and assess your injury in the shortest possible time. Here is a list of some of the most common emergency cases treated by our center:



  • Excessive tearing

  • Eye redness

  • Eye discharge or excessive dimness

  • Eye bleeding

  • Seeing floating objects (flying flies)

  • Sensation of a foreign body in the eye

  • Inflammation of the eye
